MEP-805B low oil pressure issue

Generator starts, runs, and produces power fine. Only has 170 hrs on it. After about 4 hours of use it will shut down showing the low oil pressure fault. Oil pressure gauge shows pressures ranging from 47-52 psi when the generator is warm. Any suggestions on what this issue might be. Is the sender going bad?

I have not put a manual oil pressure gauge on it. I’ll do that. Do I need one with a “T” on it so the generator will continue to run?
New to the military generator world so forgive me for my ignorance.

Yes, otherwise Genset won’t even start
Also check oil pressure transducer opening for dirt accumulation since you gotta take it out anyway
