Too many years ago I acquired a 1953 M37. I have done a bunch of work to it but am stuck on the wiring. It came with a "New" handmade wiring harness. However I have noticed that it may not be for this truck.
According to my diagram I should have 4 wires coming out of the rear cannon plug on the regulator. One goes to the starter, one is the main power for the relays. However the other two are not there. They are supposed to go to and from the Amp gauge. I have several numbers missing on the wiring under the dash.
I do not believe this harness is for a truck with turn signals so that should make it easier.
My questions are manifold. Which pins on the cannon plug are the to and from wires to the amp gauge? Are these wires possibly ran through the other part of the wiring harness?
Where can I get a Pin diagram for this wiring?
I have other issues as well, such as when I turn on the ignition all my gauges (except the amp gauge which isn't hooked up) peg out. Any help would be appreciated.
