Power Steering Hose Question

If I'm going to make my own power steering hoses for the high pressure side what would be the best diameter, 6 AN, 8 AN, or 10 AN?

If I'm going to make my own power steering hoses for the high pressure side what would be the best diameter, 6 AN, 8 AN, or 10 AN?

The ends are reusable, all you need is to replace the hose, I use Discount Hydraulic hose Hydraulax Tough (HT) as it is the closest dimensionally to the OEM hose and is very tough and flexible.
