Hawker Batteries

My HMMWV came with two Hawker Armasafe Batteries and they charged right up (12.6-12.8V). Date codes are similar (0916-24). I had already purchased two Optima Yellow-Tops for the vehicle, so these are extra. Or are the Hawker’s better and I should use them instead? What are they worth if I just sold them locally?

For sure the Hawkers are better than the Optimas. On a maintainer I have gotten 10 years out of them. Not so much on other AGMs.

IMHO selling them locally due to the crazy cost of shipping the most I would ask for is between $200 - $250 per and see if they move and if not readjust the price. They are great batteries and my last set of Hawkers lasted 10 years. You are still selling used batteries so you have to be realistic. Just my .02 cents.
