M54A2 grease fitting sizes

After 20 years of driving past an M54A2 hiding in the weeds, the owner put it up for sale and I bought it! Going step by step through the maintenance TM's to make sure this project is done right.
Most grease fittings are needing replacement. What size fittings are used on the truck?

You should be able to purchase a "multi-pack" of angles and straight fittings. Possibly at a local hardware store...

Maybe not all grease fittings are the same size?

the few i've had to replace were 1/8"NPT straight fitts .. my memory has not retained whether there's any smaller-thread ones or where exactly all the 45's and 90's are, but most of the fitts are straight ..

Best bet is for you to get on your creeper and start rolling around with a couple wrenches and an assortment of fitts.. If your memory is like us old soldiers, don't forget a pen and clipboard
