Rebuilt 5.7 Vortec installed.. * .030 rebuild with the GMPP 395 cam and updated MPFI injectors.

The computer needs tuning, but it'll get up to 60mph with ease

I bet that's nice. Using OE TH400? MPG report when you get it all sorted out.

Yup, using the T400 until I can find a 4L80E

The mpg shouldn't be too bad.. I hope lol

I drove it over the wknd to get a feel for what it needs tuning wise. From my calculations the mileage was 12-13mpg on country hwy, backroads and a lil bit of stopn go.... *I kept it no higher than 55mph

It was about what I expected. Hopefully getting it tuned will improve the mileage

If the MPG doesn't get better, turn the AC on to console yourself.
