i have glow plug problems CAN YAL HELP???

maybe you guys can help, My m1008 was cranking and running fine a couple weeks ago and now it cranks but will not run. I beleive my GPR may be bad but i dont know how to test it, i used a test light on it and when the switch is in off position only the top wire has power and when the switch is on all the wires have power but the bottom wires (TWO BIG WIRES AND ONE SMALL WIRE ON THE SAME POST). dont know what this means any ideals???????

Also while trying to test the GPR i accidently crossed the main power wire on the relay with one of the smaller wires witch burt up the control card i read on a post about the push button switch for the plugs but if the GPR is bad will the switch ideal still work.

ok i read the trouble shooting and by what it says my card is the problem how do i instal the switch where do the wire from the switch go

Find the 'blue' wire on your GPR... wire that one terminal of the button, wire the other terminal to ground.

one more thing after i install this psh button switch for the gow plugs what do i do with the control box for the plugs do i unplug it or just leave it pluged up??? what will it be good for if it is left plugged in?

Either will have the same effect. Or you could replace it and have both automatic and manual GP's.
