I have been all over this and the old forum trying to find the answer. Either I'm not doing the search right or it's not there.

Got a 69 Deuce that has the newer IP and it does not have the external adjustment of the old IP.

So, how do you adjust the new one ? Point me to a link , I don't care , just HELP me out ! :)

:roll:Give us part numbers and pics? Exactly what are you trying to adjust? Have you swapped yours?

I assume he is talking about the version without an FDC. ?

Could be - but the IP factory made without the FDC are actually the oldest ones, as used on the LDS-427 (they will work fine on the LDT). The Bosch part number will tell us for sure.

I'm familiar with the gov program to bypass FDC, not seen one that was removed as part of that program.

All I can tell you right now is that mine does not show the external adjustment nuts or cover as discussed in the old forum or on this forum , unless I'm seeing something different.

Mine has the Cap sticking out the front like in the pictures , but below that , where the safety wired cover should be, there isn't one. I'll post a picture soon.

Hi.

Download the TM 9-2910-226-34, the necessary info to adjust the pump.

But take care, don't fall fore the idea to to adjust it to high, and blow the engine, I have experience a break down, and that is no fun.

Hi yes as DDoyle says, its actually the old type IP, I have it in my M35A1 with the LDS427-2, and in the M621 with the LD465.
Thanks for the TM advice on this, I think the M621 will need a little adjustment
