speedo issue. Stuff to give away. Ques???

My speedometer needle swings below zero at rest. Is there a pin that should be there, and if so can I place a new on there?
If it's not repairable and no longer accurate, I have access to a used gauge cluster out of a civvy truck. Can I swap just the speedometer into mine? I remember having a gauge panel out of another truck, and they are rather brittle in places.
Tomorrow I'll be removing all the odd brackets from mine, if anyone needs any.
Radio shelf, antenea bracket, tire carrier (maybe).
My tailgate latch dosn't work, just all floppy, sort of an all show, no go sort of thing. Any input? At least the window goes up and down fine.
Are the door and window crank usually all one certain key code on these? My ignition was something different and I had swap in a civvy key switch. Dad has a little half ton 2wd collection he provides me with parts from. He's three hours away, but the post office delivers.
Oh, the keys I had made, two of them, free also.
Looking for three point belts. Will give away my two point ones if anyone wants them, after I find new 3 point ones.
If want to disable the glow plugs, with a switch in a line to the relay, what wire would it go in? This would allow me to use either on really cold days when the glow plugs don't cut it.
Do you all just use the bolts and nuts to fill all the holes drilled in these military vehicles? I've got holes in both sides, the front hump by the transfercase shifter, and in the rear cargo are. That is in addition to the rusted lower body panels. Of course I dropped a chraftsman 1/2" wrench down into the front well of the driver side fender, where I can't get at it with a magnet, or even see it anymore. A rust holew there woulda helped.
I think I'll mount an antenae right on the roof, centered behind the windshield. I'll mount my sterio in a box there. I eventually plan to put a "shelf-it" across the front with gauges run along under it, the wires up in it, out of sight.
I'm sure they'll be plenty of other questions, as I seem to have a fixation on things for awhile, untill things are as I think they should be.

I'd be interested in the antenna and radio brackets. As for the tailgate handle, you might have to take off the back panel and take a look. It's a pretty simple setup so it should be pretty easy to see what's wrong once you open it up.

Oh, and as for the needle, I'm pretty sure mine does that too. I'll look again in the morning when I start it, but I'm pretty sure thats what it does.
