Now I just hope the bidding doesn't go to high. It's in Texarkana on the GL site. I can't go up there to look at it, but the pictures sure make it look good. I noticed there were a few in Hattiesburg that weren't going very high in price. I'm just hoping I can get one that's fairly close to home, in pretty decent conditionand still keep the price down. I see some of them going for less than a grand and then others that seem to shoot to an exorbitant amount.

It appears there are three good looking M35a2c Air Force models with the emergency brake light, one non drop side and one with a winch. One other c model, no brake light.

At least I think those with the brake light are Air Force.

Main thing is- do they run ok? Hopefully no mechanical issues that aren't easy to fix, like bad batteries, brake bleeding, etc. If you get it, you will have to fill us in a little more on what you got, mileage, pictures, the trip to get it, etc.

It doesn't help your chances of getting it cheap by posting it on here and where it's at ;-). I haven't seen any runners for less than $1,000 in a long time and if it's a late model M35A2C it will bring more than your average deuce.

Yeah I thought about that for a while, but then decided that if someone else wants it bad enough they would be willing to pay more for than I would want to bid anyways. The only other person that might bid on it would be someone who just wants to artificially inflate it cause they can't have it, that will probably get them in more trouble than it's worth. I just don't understand why people are paying so much for these things when there are plenty of them going up for auction. The only thing I can figure is the GL people are bidding on them also in order to get there sale prices up.
