I have a question is there a 5ton truck thats match up with the M36/M46

Yes I was thinking of putting my 2/12 expando van on a 5 ton truck,I was thinking M814.

M35s are considered as standard length. M36s are referred to as long wheel base (LWB) trucks. M813 5 ton cargo trucks are considered LWBs and M814s are considered extra long wheel base (XLWB) trucks.

If you check the bed length, an M813 will probably do what you want. If memory serves, an M814 bed is around 20' long.

Thats what I was trying to figure out,I looked at the truck specs on this site and did not list all the trucks.

bed lengths

I have been serioulsy looking at some LWB trucks on GL and here is what I have observed.

M35 - 2 1/2 ton - 12' bed
M36 - 2 1/2 ton - 17' bed with on e drop side
M814 - 5 ton - 20' bed

There have been several M36's lately and a few M814's. There are several M813 5 ton cargos on there now.

If you get a long one and get rid of the bed, let me know as I may be interested in it.
