let off the gas m1008 shuts off

motor has 4k on it. in a 86 m1008. keeps shutting down. only thing i can think is the injection pump is on the way out?

No, he will wear the key out starting it all the time.

84... there was a thread about 1-2 months ago with the same problem. I forget the outcome, what it was called, etc. But I remember seeing it. You might try looking for it?
