Well, after 42 days at Battle Creek I finally got the email today from GL. EUC apporved/Paid in full.:jumpin:
Now starts the road trip to Tampa to pick it up(four hour drive):driver:. looks like it will be January 7th if everything goes as planned. I will take a lot of pictures and post later.

Also sent two EUC in for the two M1028A3's in Ohio(next road trip) anyone got a 40ft trailer for rent? Hate to make two trips from south Florida

42 Days Was it your first? I thought they got faster after the first
Ya, it was my first, I think it took longer because I don't have a home phone. Everyone in the family have cell phones. So I cancelled my home phone that was not being used(save me $40 each month):)

I sent my second EUC on Dec 30th for the two M1028A3's at Wright-Patterson. I hope it only takes a week or two.

You have got to be "acedrawen" on Ebay! I go by aboonski on Steel Soldiers, Ebay and YouTube and live right by the interstate and State Road 192. If you encounter any problems on the way home with the CUCV II, give me a call (321) 427-3070. I always watch your auctions because you are a seller in the State of Florida and within a few hours driving distance of West Melbourne where I am located. I have lots of resources here in addition to my two military trucks. I wanted to bid on that CUCV II but did not and wanted to see who won it. Glad to see that a member of SS placed the winnig bid! You did well!

Yep, that's me.
I didn't have time to check it out(CUCV-II) so I hope it won't take to much to fix it. Could be just a pump and nothing major. The wife's not liking the MV thing with me right now.

Anyone got a trailer that will haul two M1028A3's that I can rent:?: Hate to make two trips(1,148 miles one way).

Thanks to both of you! It looks like a mid nineties Cheby? Anything special? I mean like 6.5's or 4L80e's? Are they 24volt?

So you got the M1028A3's, I wanted the Camo one really bad (but you were willing pay more than I, so you won the sale!) They are both in pretty good shape, I just looked at them on Monday. The paint on camo one is brand new I swear, it is a very nice truck, I don't think that you went wrong I just couldn't pony up any more money.

No problem about the bidding...sorry about running you up, but I guess that is the way it is done.. Since I had some money burning a hole in my pocket I bought a M35A2C that was in the same sale as your trucks.

I picked up the CUCV-II in Tampa today. Left the house at 4:00 am. Got to Tampa at 09:00 am and had the truck loaded by 10:45. I was back home by 5:00 pm.

Hope it is just the injector pump. Could be missing some items that they took apart.( I hope they didn't drop anything in the engine)

It was a little tricky getting it on the trailer. They lost the keys and the wheels were turned to the left alittle.(steering wheel locked)
