I've been saying the same thing. My little brother (active duty Captain, branched Engineer but currently attending Special Forces school) calls them "those old Blazers".

I'm pretty sure this thread has been officially hijacked. Which reminds me of a joke.

A national guard guy called it a "Thousand Nine". Saved some extra syllables.

Also, some people place extra emphasis on the V for cuck-Vee or humm-Vee.

My sister calls it spot.
