Ha, ha, ha. I'm sure glad someone out bid me on the other truck. I only had enough money for one truck.

Get ready to barf,
I'm going to bob this and put it on ebay. Times are hard and I need to make a few bucks.

I tell you what, it pays to go check these out before you bid. One of the trucks will hardly run. Another ran great but the body was shot. Mine (assuming my EUC clears) has a hard top, electric wipers, fiberglass troop seats and is green. The other 4 are brown. A nice color for dirt.

You missed the best trucks, there was a bunch of Georgia NG trucks just above Atlanta that sold today, most had been upgraded and looked very clean and went from 1000 to about 2k. Wayne

Yup, Gimpy is right. I won. I did not intend to win and thought it would go at least a few hundred higher.

Many thanks to Gimpy and all the advice over the last couple days and right up to last 15 minutes of the bid.

Only one negative thing to report and that is the shipping folks never emailed me back with a shipping quote but once again Gimpy and his connections gave me multiple ideas for shipping.

I would have posted earlier but have commitments on this end (and the only valid transportation that can make it on back roads).

Hey Joe

Hey Joe,

I just got the two CBCs to go with the one on my bobbed deuce. Joe, Please keep me in mind if you ever decide to sell yours. They make great command posts for hurricane/disaster relief trucks.

Were those the CBC's at Ft riley? I went and looked at those when I went to preview the s250 shelters (I did manage to win one too:-D). Those CBC's are very cool bUt went way to high for my wallet, besides I dont even have a trailer to put one in.

Did anyone here get the M818 at OKC? I was out bid by one bid and my wife said if I had won it I would be living in the "new" shelter.

Scored Uncle's last M880 in captivity . . . from dry New Mexico. Nicer than the one I bought in 1989, less money, and complete too!

I looked at that, the s250 shelter, and 4 of the MKT-90's but everything went too high for me considering transport. I did get a M1009 out of Redstone though.

WOOOHOOOOO.........I got three deuces from Redstone.....none cost over $950.00.
And I got a big genny trailer at Marietta for $280.00.....going to make a tag trailer to pull behind the wrecker if I can get another axle.
These trucks will prob be parted out unless there is an exceptional one in the bunch.
I hate to do it but I have several people that will pay more for a front and rear axle that I paid for thewhole truck.
I am on medical leave from work and need the coin.
PM if you need parts and want to reserve them.
