coolant filter

Anyone here got an idea as to plumbing in a coolant filter when there is a cab heater already installed?Just teeing into the existing lines did'nt really appeal to me,but......Thanks!

The coolant filter is a "bypass" filter, so only part of the coolant is filtered each time around. Eventually all of the coolant will be filtered.
If you are concerned about pressure loss by having the heater in the same circuit, add a petcock and turn off circulation through the heater, it probably isn't used much anyway.
