Ok, I spent 15 -20 minutes searching and can't find the cross reference numbers for primary, secondary fuel filters, final fuel, oil and air filters from NAPA.
I'm heading to Knox on Friday to pick up my Deuce and want to have the filters available. Can someone post the info needed or direct me to the post.
Thanks guys.

Bob

I've got a new set here (NOT NAPA) :

Those are the numbers on the boxes.

The NAPA numbers are
Primary Fuel - 3511
Secondaries/Final- 3512
Oil - 1133
Air Filter - 2837

These also come in WIX
Primary Fuel - 33511
Secondaies/Final - 33512
Oil - 51133

The Air filter normally does not need to be replaced. It has been said that you should only use the MIL filter as the NAPA (and others) do not flow enough air.

I would grab a couple of primary filters because you may need to change it twice. Sometimes after the truck sits and then you fill the tank, alot of junk gets stirred up.

I had to change one of mine a second time after about 100 miles. No problems since.

I think there is a problem with the gaskets that come with the filters. These are the numbers I have of gaskets that will work.

Baldwin G-241 or G-107
Big A 97221 or 97406
Carquest 90406
John Deere M96T
NAPA 5221 or 5406

My information says a Donaldson air filter number P11-7551 has the correct air flow. I can not confirm that.

NAPA numbers for primary fuel is 3511.......secondary and final fuel are 3512
You wll have problems with aftermarket filter gaskets fitting and will prob have to remove the secondary and final housing to get them on without going nuts.

I dont have the numbers for air and oil.

Ted's in Dothan, AL has complete sets of mil spec filters and can get them to you quick.

Phone is 334-983-1092

There may be other sources that I'm not aware of.

Ok. I just got my deuce and I'm wanting to change my filters. I read in this thread that for the air filters use only mil. Where would I get a mil air filter? I do want good air flow. My air filter meter in the cab says I need to change it. I was thinking of just pulling it out and blowing it off for now. I'm a newbie at owning a deuce and I would like to do what's right and works good. I haven't really seen anything with the one I just picked up but I would like to do some maintenance to it. I was thinking of buying the filter kit from OD Iron but if I can get good parts at NAPA or something then I'll just do that.

Sweet. Thanks. I downloaded and printed out the operator TM at work yesterday. I would guess that all the maintenance stuff is in the other manual that I haven't downloaded and printed out. I think its the 361-20.....

What other places is there to order genuine Mil spec filter kits? Are they comparable in price to the cross referenced parts from NAPA, Carquest and others?
