I have a question for all you guys that are running 1600X20's?

How does your truck behave at different speeds? Do you have any trouble with the truck bouncing? My truck has Goodyear 1600X20s and at speeds from 20 to 35 I get a harmonic bounce. It feels like I'm running over a continuous row of small speed pumps. It is just enough to be annoying. At higher speeds the bounce seems to go away. I'm running 80lbs in each tire. I can’t pin it down to any one tire or axel on the truck. I have had the tires spun balanced and I’m fairly sure that what I’m feeling isn’t a balance problem. So I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
Thanks
Van.

Much better at the lower pressures

mine bounch with no load from 25-32 or so. lower the pressure to about 40-45. no need to run so much pressure with our little light trucks and these monster tires.

That seems to have done it. I can tell there is a little bounce in them but it isn't that bad. I lowered the fronts to 42 and the rears to 40. I didn't get to drive it but a few miles so I will do a better road test tomorrow.
Thanks jwaller
