Well I had my first adventure with the deuce lsat night. It was awesome until I giot stuck. We have this killer mud hole that everybody gets stuck in but I didn't at first. The guys had to come up with some crazy feat for me to achieve and that is when I got it stuck. That wasn't the worst part... It came when one of the guys decided to help me out by trying to push me out with his truck and smacked the front of the deuce driving the radiator into the fan and cutting a fuel line. We shut it down and pilled it out with a 3/4 ton Dodge Ram and worked on the deuce this morning. Well my problem now is my radiator is shot and now I need to find one. I wanted to turn to my fellow SS members for some help especially for finding parts here in Arkansas. I know Memphis Equipment may have one sp I'm going to call them Monday. I saw one on OD Iron but it was like $740. I'm hoping to find one that is a wee bit cheaper.

I'll tell you what though, that deuce impressed the hell out of everyone. It is one bad rig!!!!! I love it and want to get it fixed :)

Next time maybe try pulling instead of pushing...

I don't know if I can recore it because it has a huge gash in the top of it. I am going to call around Monday and try to find a shop that might be able to do that.

And yes the next time I will make sure that they pull instead of push. I learned my lesson with this one.

I just replaced mine this past summer. I was going to have it repaired but it would have cost just as much as a new one. So I bought a new one from OD Iron. Very easy to change. Perfect replacement.

Sounds like this guy owes ya at least some dough on that no brainer. You really have to smack into it to drive the rad into the fan. Not to mention that must have put a hurting on his truck too. Whats that saying.....common sense isn't common anymore:roll:

Now of course if you asked him to plow into the front of your truck then it absolves him of most of the blame.

No I didn't ask him to plow into it. He started out up against my bumper trying to push it out. Then he decided to get a running start I guess. I made out cheap because he figured he couldn't get me out so he decided to show me how a real truck gets through it. Well he tried to go through what I had already eased through, but he gassed it too much and I wallowed the mud hole out so much that he hit something and snapped his driveshaft and messed his transmission up. I think he was mad because I made that mud pit look like a little bitty mud puddle with the deuce :) I do believe I was a bonehead for not trying to stop him but it happened so fast. I figured he was done and I was stuck and we would have to come up with a plan but I was wrong. Oh well. Another idiot learning experience for me.

Thanks gimpyrobb. I'll PM you if I can't find one. I'm going to make some calls tomorrow.

Just buy another truck for parts, for a couple thousand dollars you can have a full selection of parts. Sounds like you may need them.

Thanks quarkz for the link. I hadn't had much time and really didn't think about checking our classifieds.

I would love to buy another one for parts but they are just going so high right now. I think I may try and get another one in a couple months when I can save up some cash.
