Can someone tell me the spline count on the axles of the Dana 60 front, open differential of the M1008?

Both are correct too. The inner is 1.5 35 and the outer stub is 1.31 30. You can upgrade the outer stubs to 1.5 35.

Thanks for the replies! Well then, the Dana 60 Limited-slip carrier I was looking at more than likely is for a rear differential as it was a 30 spline unit. GM,(3/4tons prior to 1974), Ford and Dodge all ran some truck models with 30 spline rears years back.

The inner spline count is what you'd need to know with regards to putting a locker.

There's a good tech article on Pirate4x4, Billavista wrote the 'Dana 60 Bible' and it has more Dana 60 technical info than you could ever hope to memorize.

I see you already edited your post after you seen you were incorrect about there not being 30 spline units. I visit Pirate from time to time and find they aren't much if any more accurate for information. I have never taken a front CUCV Dana 60 apart and was unsure of what they might have used. I have had at least one truck with a front Dana 60 in my driveway for the last 32 years consecutive.
