My M1008 has started to blow some diesel smoke out the left side exhaust and has become a little harder to start, particularly when it cold out.
The smoke is not too noticeable at idle with a warm engine but I can see it in the side view mirror going down the road, particularly under a heavy engine load.
The truck has new glow pugs that seem to be working fine, so the harder starting does not seem to be related to them.
The air and fuel filters are new and the fuel system is not loosing prime.
When I get a chance, I'll pull it into the shop and do an injector check. If that doesn't show any issues, I'll do a compression check.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
