Deuce shear pins for sale

Having trouble finding shear pins for my winch, tried all the normal suppliers, any Ideas?

I'd like to replace the bolt that is still in my winch from when I bought the truck with the proper aluminum pin. So I'd also be interested in some.

Shear pins are listed at www.saturnsurplus.com in the M35 section, page 7, under 'winch' they list for $3.50 each. unless this is one you tried who were out.

I just ordered last wed from Memphis and got 20 of them. paid $1.74 each.

should of ordered like 50 of them cause ups charged me $13 to ship them

Note that you need to get the alloy and heat treating right first, or you will get pins that yield at the incorrect time.

But you could do that in bulk though.

Last I had seen from Memphis were incorrect. Seems they had a head on one side. I may have a source for NOS ones, real gov't surplus. I'm waiting on a return email.

yes kenny them are the ones i got. would you advise me not to use them? i dont want to mess it up. i thought it looked a little diffrent but will it cause some issues?

I remember that Deuce shear pins were headed at one time years ago. I also remember seeing pictures of them in a book somewhere. If you contact Memphis and ask the parts man to check with Max the owner, I think they will be able to answer your questions. Please be sure the shear pins are not steel by testing with magnet. the earliest Reo M35 shear pins were steel and were all to be replaced with aluminun alloy pins by the printing of my TM9-8022 manual in 1954. OK, just ordered 30 more shear pins, genuine GI stuff. Waiting on another email confirming that I can post the sellers email address. Prices will depend on quantity. I wanted to get one more buy for my inventory. This will give me a little over 50 shear pins, enough for my stint in the hobby I hope.
