Pictures will help us solve this dilema. As for the service manual check the TMs. They are under resources at the top middle of your screen. Then click technical manuals.

Come to pa-pa!

Me want truck like THAT!

(Post-Recovery):

Drag your mouse over "Resourses," click, then scroll down to, "Technical Manuals." Open TMs and click on left hand column that has what you want.

If you're on a dial-up system, you might be experiencing some snags and delays.

Here's a direct link to TMs:

I think it is really nice. New to these trucks, but it doesn't have any rust and evrything is there. Tires were new ( less than 100 miles on all of them. All 11)
Need to replace leaking rear axle seal. Has grease coming from drum area. And going to replace wheel cyl's kits while I'm there on all the rears. Runs great. Has something on the engine that I don't know what it is . Will take pictures after today and post. Do these things have heaters. Can't find any controls yet for one. Found vent under windshiled though.

Box is all metal frame and top. Sides are a like a plastic sheeting with small side rectanglur windows. Spoke with a old military guy here in OKC area that sells surplus truck and parts and he said with the hardware that holds it on and the latch mech that it was probably authorized, built, and installed by the group that was using truck. Unbolt and it lifts off. The sides are renforced with expanded metal to give support to the walls as is the top also under the sheeting.
