Not really.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Besides being easier to replace with the spin on, is there any advantages to the other than OEM style filters?
The canisters are plated on the inside, if they rust, then they need to be replaced.....Some people have reported rust forming in the stock cans. .......
Is the 2 micron filter a spin on filter??
Whoa....you got a pick of that Gimpy?????To hi-jack a little, I have a stone type filter on my dropside truck. What is the correct way to clean those once "clogged"? I was thinking of spraying brake cleaner and using pressurized air, but wanted to ask before I dammaged the media.
Does NAPA have a better one to use?The NAPA 3511 is a 10 micron filter and not well suited for a primary water separator/filter...
Don't know, but I got the real thing from Memphis...about a year ago (2910-00-790-2300 or 8729068 or Facet 053754-01). If they don't have it, try SECO 1-800-733-7326.Does NAPA have a better one to use?
