Maybe she can blow up the pictures of the M656 8x8 for him.. Thats what is in the pond too. Some good ones for his collection..

Acording to the Crismon book, the picture in the very first post in this thread is not a XM977. Fred writes "TACOM built this 5 ton purely for evaluation purposes . . the cab is Kenworth . . . the chassis is from a M656 5 tonner . . . engine 6V53 . . . no XM number was assigned". He goes on to write in the 10 ton 8x8 section that the XM977 (with a similar cab) had a 8V92. Can anyone comment, is this not correct?

Ya its an ugly old K100 cab but still a cool truck for sure.
