Gimp,
I was looking for at least a driver door with hinges. I have good glass and lock out of mine. Unless you have a complete door for not much more $. My driver door bottem is rusted all to heck, and one hinge mount is bent/damaged.

Gimp, I do need the hinges but would rather replace the whole door, as the bottem is really messed up.

I'll be at Haspin. Just hope it doesn't rain on the way there, missing a driver door an all...

Not sure, but we stole this thread, LOL. :-D
My pass door is in great shape. Also, it has flat head hardware on the regulator, panel, and door locks, but the driver side is all phillips head. Oh well!

Actually, I think I bought this thread.
No. The thread will cost you extra :-D. Ferro needs to chip in too.

I shot gimpy some good prices because I know he's cheap, I got the truck cheap, and he's been really good to me whenever I've needed anything.

Ferro, I've got another drivers door that is good other than some rust at the front corner (where they always rust). It could be fixed fairly easy. Shoot me a PM if interested.

I'll probably pick them up but, I am not attending Aberdeen this year. I am sorry. GUess you'll have to show up at Haspin after all. Ferro, let me know if I should pick up your door and bring it to Haspin, sounds like you might want it sooner though.

Gimpy, I made it a little easier to get "the goods" today :-D.

I've heard people say the cab removal is a piece of cake but I fought with this thing half a day. I even had the help of the "smoke wrench" on the rusted bolts (because the cab is junk) but it was still alot of work.

Nice! I saw in another post your tractor couldn't lift the motor and trans, that had me worried. Looks like I worried needlessly! Wonder if I can swap out my rear main seal before I head your way, its starting to slip the clutch alot. I have been gathering money, looks like I will leave alot with you. :)

Yea, the tractor won't lift much. That's a 14,000lb lift and I've got them up to 100,000lb if the need arises .

Gimpy called me this afternoon to say he's headed this way to get the engine, trans, and some other parts off this truck.

My truck is a '72 Deuce, with a 530B Fire truck body. It too has a transfer case PTO. The pto is operated by the water pump being engaged by the lever that is on the fire truck panel, behind the driver's side door. I don't know much aboput the pto or the transfer case except that that is what I have and that is what other fire trucks have. currently I am planning on a winch and an air-o-matic install. I am also looking to doing an a/c install... Miami is just too hot without it!!!
