Check valve is on the end of the tanks facing towards tandems. Keeps outboard tank from bleeding back to inboard if air leak is on any outboard circut. Brakes are on inboard so they protect them till all else has failed.

Any photos of how and where you mounted the waste tanks?
Sorry I didn't take any pictures of the tanks mounted. I installed them under the truck between the frame rails. I made a rack for them to sit in, then bolted them between the frame rails and did the plumbing.

I would take pictures, but it has been raining here like an SOB for the past few days, and I don't feel like laying in the water/mud. I will try to take some next time it is nice out.

m109guy where did you get your waste tanks and what arfe the deminsions of them
Got them off of ebay. From this seller: NEW RV Parts and Truck Accessories eBay Store About My Store

He has many different sizes available for sale.

Sorry I made a mistake, I thought they were 42 gallons, but they are 39 gallons. Close enough ;)

They are 48.5"L x 25"W x 9.5"H

Yea, I've gone through his build page about 150 times...he's done a fantastic job on his 109, but there were no details or photos of the mounted waste tanks (can't expect to show everything or it would be a novel).
Yeah I would have liked to have posted everything in detail, but I only have so much time to write about it, take pictures and post it. Like you said, if I posted everything, it would be very, very long.

Weather improve yet in the Great White North? Would love to see a pic of how the waste tank(s) is mounted and lines ran.

Just ordered my holding tanks and pump to get started on the system.
