I haven't seen any posted but if anybody is interested there is an A2 in the trucks that we bought at Camp Shelby......it might make a good project.
I will be down there next week selling trucks.
PM me and I will try to send a complete list if they have it ready.

I sure hope not. I suspect, before long, there will be someone who dreams of bobbing an M939 series. I know that guy exists...it is just a matter of time... Why not bob a HEMTT?!?!

OOPS....I meant one A3 in the bunch.

DM....I got a call yesterday..they have the computerized inventory system in place and have most of the stuff inventoried. Sales of vehicles should be available by the middle of next week.....with the emphasis on volume sales (10 or more per sale) and then sales to individuals,
I will be down there Tues to do sales and related duties.

Cough..... cough.. if someone was willing to pay me to do it, I would have no problem. I should just rip the dump bed off the 817 thats at my shop and bob it.

Someone is going to do it. No dought about it. It will happen just not in maryland! I dont want a rock launched into my shop window. It's bad as it is with selling trucks in maryland and people distroy them and then blame you for it!

if you wana stretch it and say a MK-48 LVS is a bobbed HEMTT
i thought we would count the baby HEMTT...

actually, if i had the means, i'd have 2 m984 wreckers: one standard for full capacity and the 2nd shortened for offroad recovery / maneuverability. i'd take about 8' out of the middle and go to a single front axle; keep the crane and main winch.

then again, i'd upgrade the power plant in the 1st one - them things are a real dog when loaded...

anyway, i'm right there w/ PHD - just awaiting a HEMTT donation to get me started.

I was thinking of cutting down my M36E3. I don't know if that counts or not. I was thinking of getting the tool box and the spare tire carrier from an M818 and also using a M105 trailer box.

But that is in the future.
