just a lil problem

i got a 86 m1009. sometimes it will start fine and sometimes it wont start at all. the times it wont start if you crank it for like 10 15 sec it will melt the conector at one of the battrey termenials (never has been the same one alwes a difrent one each time) but on the days it dose start it will start right up no problems like it was new. now that starter was rebuilt about a year ago. and the battreys are new alonge with the glow plugs. any help would be grate thanks Ryan

Start by downloading the Technical Manuals from the resource section. Then remove each terminal, clean it, and replace and tighten. Loose and corroded terminals "can", but not always, cause this issue.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Most of the time when a connection burns up it's because of a bad connection.
