My brothers 2008 3500 Chevy dually and a has of yet to located gooseneck. My buddy had one but he recently sold it. bummer

And you should be. They are right at 11' high. I would plan on bringing enough jacking and cribbing material to remove the rear tires and wheels if needed. Should make for an interesting tow all the way to FL.

I have my eye on an idle trailer of the proper capacity and plenty long but have not inquired about borrowing(not likley) or renting it for a week. One of the things I must do soon.

If it is it will just have to suffer. He ordered with all the towing packages he could get, we may go over it but I really haven't checked it yet. I would like to take the companys low boy but they frown on that sort of personal use.

phil2968, no pics of the inside yet the box is in my driveway while I'm working on repairs and upgrades. I don't think there will be a plasma in it unless someone buys it for me!!! but I do have a 13" color TV with vcr my 5yr old daughter said I could use....she has a 20" w/dvd player now so I get the left overs..As soon as I get some headway on it I'll post pics of the upgrades and process.

I guess I can offer help, if you just want to drive it, I will go up there with you and PreTrip your truck, Go through all the fluids, mechanicals, and etc. Otherwise I got a CDL class A if your hunting an extra driver.

Thanks for the offer to help dc3coyote, I'm still waiting on the elusive euc approval before I can do anything. Citizensoldier was trying to get a look at my truck but hasn't been able to get in to see it. I hope I wind up with somthing decent. I met tiger442 today here in Lakeland at what a sweet truck he wound up with, great shape. I'm just gettin' over a chest cold myself.

YEE HA!! I'm finally approved! Goin' to head out to pick up the M109 on the 16th. Hope to be back in Lakeland by Wednesday at the latest. It will be a long trip and hope to be able to post some pics along the way. Maybe I'll have it ready for the GA rally this fall. This is going to be so cool! I can't wait.
