I have been mulling around with the idea of installing some military radio sets in my deuces. I have pretty much narrowed it down to an RT-524/R-442 combo. I know several SS out there have some nice installations that they would like to show off. So, my request is to show (pics) what you got and exactly what you have. I have searched the radio section but pics are few and far between. There was a nice HMMV setup but I'm after deuce radio setups. Gees, just when I thought my trucks were good to go then this radio bug hits me. Hmmm, the only question after this is what's next:roll:

.... to install a winch and a gun ring

I've started to install a RT-524 / R-442a setup in my deuce. I got the surge suppressor and the radio mounts in. I got the headset boxes mounted in the corners of my hardtop, the only trouble I am having is where to install the am-1780 (i think thats the number). With the gun ring I just mounted on the truck, the reinforcement plate takes up the place where I planned on mounting it on the rear of the cab, behind the passenger seat. Now I just gotta figure out a new spot for it.

Here's a link to how SEVO just did his. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/military-radios-other-electronics/36368-vic-1-system-go.html
