I don't want to thread jack here, but I gotta ask this and I can't see starting a new thread for this.

What's the deal with the deuce tail gates? If you look at the first two pics in this thread, you can see that "DUG's" tailgate is relatively close in height to the side rails of the bed, whereas "Armada's" gate is much higher than the bed? Is that simply because it's a dropside or was there a reason for the difference in height?

Armadas is a drop side bed, Dug's is not

uuuhhhhh yeah, I know that much, I asked why the tailgates were different on the two beds????

Couldn't they use one tailgate for both beds? Was this done for a reason?

maybee its easier to climb...a higher tailgat means a lower step when its open...thats the only reason i can imagine. my dropside has also the high tailgate.
