I thought I'd say hello. I just won my first m35. Im going to Redstone next weekend to pick it up. Never got to set in the driver seat of one. But Ive got the hell pounded out of me riding in the troop seats in the back. Im praying that everything goes good starting it and driving it 370 miles home to VA.

Welcome to the site!

First, find the thread title "GL/DRMO checklist" by Maccus. It is a great list that includes almost everything you should take with you.

Then post a map of your chosen route home. People along the way may offer to help if you run into trouble.

Sorry to inform you but you won't be picking up ANYTHING at Redstone or any other GL location on the weekends, just won't happen. I like the optimism of that though.

Kenny, he said he was heading down on Sunday, and picking up on the 14th (Monday).

bullydogjc, welcome aboad. If this is your first EUC, I would plan on making the recovery on the 14th too...of October. Seriously, if this is your first EUC you could be waiting quite a while to get it back...sometimes they are quick with first timers, but others they take their sweet old time. Kick back and mix up a big ole pitcher of the southerners famous sweet tea they're always talking about and relax and wait it out.

Good luck on the recovery

Ahhhh, reading comprehension is not my strong point! Bullydogcj, carry on! While you are waiting on the recovery, go to the resource tab on the top and click on Technical Manuals. Once there search for TM 9-2320-361-10 and TM 9-2320-361-20. Right click on each, save them to your computer and start digensting them. They will explain tons about your new iron and they help feed the addiction.

Do you have your EUC submitted yet? Remember you only have 5 bussiness days to do so. If have any question ask on here, or use the GL site's live chat heidi helped me get my EUC submitted. As was said earlier, they don't get in to much of a rush approving EUC's. I submitted my first one 8/13 I'm still waiting on mine. I guess the upside of it is I will have all supplies and be fully prepared by the time I'm cleared to get it.
