what is the best carc paint removers? I am looking at the carc paint III chemical remover, but I am checking to see if any of you all have used this and what the results were. K-Chem has it. Google it for info. If anyone has used this or something from sherwin that works, please let me know, I have 20 layer to remove

Hello, Did the chemical remover work? Where can I get it?

Never gotten near any of it to say. Not to say that it would not work. I was goggling ways to get rid of carc paint and it popped up. I do know that any stripper that wal mart sells will not do anything but clean it for you. Anyway, I went to harbour freight and purchased 2 heat guns for 9.99. works like none other. The paint came off in large flakes with a putty knife. I used a needle scaler on the hard to get places (dont use this princess on any light metals such as 18 ga metal like doors, cab, fenders like that). Other suggested methods are sandblasting. It really boils down to your time and wallet. Mine taken me 2 weeks working 6 hours a day to strip, but I promise I did not kill myself doing it. Plus the fishing was great.
