Well I finally got around to installing my pyrometer today. It was alot easier than I thought it would. I am trying out the clamp setup to see how well it works, later I will tap the manifold.
Instead of removing the turbo, I drilled a very small pilot hole w/ the engine running. Then w/ the engine still running I drilled the 1/4 hole for the probe. After I removed all of the metal shavings from my face I secured the engine and installed the thermocouple. I installed the gauge where the air guage goes and temporally moved the air below the cluster. The gauge light used the same style as the dash so that change was easy.
As for the boost guage I am going to use the ether start port since it does not get that cold here.

I am thinking of a 2 guage bracket mounted on the right side of the airshift(attached pic). Or maybe back where it belongs and the pyro on the left side of the steering in the dash, I think its a 5 ton that has a guage there. It will prolly stay like it is until I get around to installing the boost gauge.

Good addition. You may want to consider mounting the pyro in the area above the steering wheel column because when you start driving with it, you'll be looking at it every time you hit a hill or step on the "gas". There are plenty of images posted showing this mount.
