SF-97

Well I struck up the deal for my Deuce, See http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=23617 post... there is one hangup though. When I went to look at it I was under the impression it was titled already. He has SF97 forms in his name and is going to go to DMV and just get the title. Is this going to be an easy process? He has several military vehicles so I am assuming he knows the deal. Any Virginia owners care to comment?

Other than that, very excited to get the rig.

I don't think it will be a problem IF he has the sf97 in hand. If he hasn't sent off for the sf97 yet you'll still get it but it could take several months.

I am in VA & just bought 2 deuces from GL.

I IMMEDIATELY ordered 2 titles from International Title Service. I should have them back within a week.

No SF-97 needed.

SO......I am sure that is technically not the way it should be done.....but I will have a title & tags WAY before anyone else from that sale gets their SF-97 form.

MN has been good to me. sent in the paperwork and no problems at all. not sure about VA though

1 question, is this from GL or a private dealer? I had a guy from VA on EBAY that tried to stick it up my arse when I asked about the SF97. Refused to answer questions till it was too late after I bid, he said everthing was on the up an up, till I asked about the forms. Then it all went to hell, he gave me bad feed back all the works. Make sure you know who your dealing with. I may have all his info still, but I wont post it until I am positive it is the same guy.

& is an "ampersand" sic? Why does Steel Soldiers put "amp" in automatically if you use the "&"

So, JR, any issues getting your deuce titled. I'm waiting on my EUC to get through the process, then getting my SF-97and going to the DMV. I'd be interested in your experience getting it titled.
