nhdiesel I looked at those out at fort knox. The guy I spoke with said when they were parked they all ran. I think that one had a dead battery if I remember right.
Thanks! Thats a big relief to hear! Now for the paperwork. It will be funny if this one gets approved before my truck from Lot #4600 that is dragging on. Wife ran out to Wal-Mart for printer ink so I can get the EUC in tonight, I don't want to waste even one night.

Jim,

Sorry about that, I almost bid on a few of those that had been singled out, but stuck with this one as we needed a cargo cover on it. Not a bad deal on those, a few in KY look to have went real cheap. The M35A3 went for somewhere in the mid $8000 range.
NP, its all part of the game. Glad it was someone on here who beat me to it. Many of those trucks looked really clean from the pics, hopefully as nice in person!

In regards to the dash layout on the new Deuce, I think it might have been a gasser at some point in it's life. It looks similar to my Reo in the layout, and the panel is a flat piece instead of embossed like later trucks. I'll have to explore it further.

printer ink? Save it as a PDF, use the watermark feature to add your signature, and email it to eucinfo@govliquidation.com

PS: scan your signature and save it as a .jpg. Then you can add it as a watermark to the pdf file and move it to the right spot on the form.

Wasn't gonna let one of these get away from me twice, not after last weeks whippin' at Polk. Got the color I want too, to go with the 915, gonna make a rolling present conflicts memorial. You guys are gonna be impressed . . .

Question, since you've been there...how did the guys there seem? And did they have equipment to be able to do a jump-start like many sites? I have a friend who will be doing the recovery if I can't make it on the right day (I told him his payment was that he could drive it around Louisville until I was able to pick it up...he's good with that ) and I want things as easy on him as possible. He might be able to take a couple batteries with him, he's a gearhead so he has the stuff. Or maybe I could convince him to pull-start it with his lifted trail Cherokee...lol. Man, that would suck for the guy in the Jeep when the clutch comes out on the Deuce...like hitting a brick wall!!!

Nice trailer! Dare I ask how much you got it for? I'd eventually like to get one of the M750s and strip it down and make a drop deck out of it, like the one in the classifieds section right now. If I had the $$$$ for that setup, I'd buy the whole thing! The trailer could be used for longer distance recoveries behind a medium duty truck, like a small International or F800 or similar.

rofl

My wife was in class, so I couldn't ask her. My friend was on the phone with me, and he encouraged me, so I was able to blame him. Then I met her at school and took her out to eat. She started to get the idea something was up...maybe it was the 400th time I said "Honey, I love you". She's good with it though. Buying cool stuff puts me in a better mood, and if I can sell one of these to make a few $$$, it helps with her schooling. Plus I'm unemployed right now. Man, I hope I can sell one... (hopefully the other one, this one looks like a keeper! but whichever one sells first...)

:ditto:

Funny dash, lower headlights, old style e-brake, box seat all indicate it was once a gasser. Looks good for a older truck though :-D.

I figured you would have nabbed one of them. I was watching close, but they went too high for being so far away. Maybe if they were 3-4 hours closer......

I really wanted one, I just didn't have that kind of money. I also lost out on a gutted M146 in Hooks by $20. (I was working)

Ugh !

Man, I have to drive mine 1100 miles to get her home. But it looks like the Iron Moths haven't gotten to her yet, so it will be worth the drive. Anything from closer up north has already started to get recycled the natural way.

I just got my invoice...NO TAX FOR THIS ONE!!! I got nailed 7% on the one in N.J. I just saved enough to buy fuel to get me out of the state of KY...

Speaking of which, I have to let all of my friends in Louisville know to save all of their used oil for me. Maybe grab a few drums and hit up restaurants too. I have a nice hand pump for a 55gal. drum.
