At idle how many hg's should the quage read? With a little fuel does pressure go up or down?

Trying to chase down a late transmission shift

I set my m1009s at 13 or 14 at idle.

Make sure your lines are free and clear from the top of the engine to the tranny. I recently had a line clog and it took me longer than it should have to figure it out.

That's why I'm starting with a gauge and starting at the tyranny

If you have not already replaced all the rubber vacuum lines in the system, do so. 95% of "late" or "hard" shift problems will end with 10 minutes and $3 of tubing.
