Makeshift Trailer Plug

well i ordered a plug but it isnt going to be here in time before my trip, so i need to make a make shift plug that will plug into the deuce trailer plug and work down into a standard 4wire trailer conecter. the design will be crude, but effective. the issue im running into now is that for the next 3 days(i leave in 3 days) im stuck on a computer with 56k for internet and i cant load up the TM to see what prong on the plug does what. im going to go out there with a tester but it will be dificult to do by myself, so i was wondering if anyone here can set me up with a picture or a link to the the info on what the each prong on the plug does.

and for those who are curious(talked to an electrial engineer and said it would work) is get some prongs that will fit each whole, then find all the controls for 1 side.(brakelight/turn) and run them to the same wire, and go from there. but with out seeing the schematic im sorta stuck between a rock and a hard place.

so basicly i need to choke the 12 wires down into 4. i know its been done before because ODiron sells an adapter, but unfort i wont get the one i ordered in time.

any help/input if anyone has done this themselfs or have ideas why this will/wont work let me know.

Thanks, Josh.

the one i ordered from OD isnt going to arive before i leave. therefore i have to make an adapter that will last me this trip. i dont have a plug off of a trailer so its going to look ugly, but if what im thinking works, i should be good.

At the truck plug

B - left stop/turn

You can take a 4way with a length of cable and make a temp setup. Just strip the ends of the wires, twist the individual wires into a point and solder them to keep them rigid (not required but helpful)

Insert the brown wire into E
Insert the green wire into J
Insert the yellow wire into B

Remember to change out the bulbs from 12v to 24v

one last question, the wiring on my tow lights shouldnt melt or anything sending 24v down them instead of 12v?
No problem with the wires but the bulbs will blow if they are not changed out.

DOD tailight module. If have brakes on (brakelight lit) do you get turnsignal flashing when hit turn signal switch?

Or is function only one? Civ have element for each in the same bulb. Looks like DOD brake/turn signal is only one function at a time.

When the brakes are on, and the blinker, one side will blink, the other brake. Same as on all 4 wire civi trailers.

well the plug works great. 4 nails, an old car side 4wire wiring harness, and some liquid black tape and presto, took me about 20 minutes to make, mostly waiting for the tape to dry, but i took it out for a test today and worked perfect, ill try and get some pictures up soon.
