For those of you running traditional 11 x 20 NDT's, what is the optimum tire pressures, that you prefer, for running on the hard pavement?? Especially taking steering axle drift and ride quality into account. Thanks!

I run 75-80 psi in the fronts and 50-55 psi in the rears, for the NDT's (note that the NDT's that I run are newer production Titan's, not the older Cooper's, Armstrong's or Goodyear's). Ride quality is a bit rough, but it works well for pavement travel.

The M818's that I have that have 14.00 x 20's and 16.00 x 20's, I run 45-55 psi all the way around.

The M816 that I just sold w/ 11.00 x 20 Michelin XL's had 100 psi in the fronts and 75 in the rears, and it rode like a Cadillac, compared to an M818 w/ NDT's.

:ditto:

unless you got some weight on the back of the 818. the 8 bias-ply tires your going to get bouncy as its a spring suspension and nothing to cause it to have a little "give" in it.

I find that 60 psi is an all around compromise. If I'm going to be loaded heavier, on a long run, then more air. But usually its short stuff and mind you, the ride is not really super. Lower air would be a little better, but not in winter, when its cold, you should be adding more air, to compensate for the lower temps.
