It is a monsoon out once again here in Ga - suppose to stop tomorrow afternoon. Will get down and take pics of the LED foglights on the upper rack installed. I am trying to get the LED marker lights (24v) wired in to both units this weekend as well as #1 LED foglight array.

I cut another dash bracket bigger than the heater on/high/low one and added another port to install a second switch (24v) so this will be the switch for the foglights. Markers will get wired in to run light circuit only in normal run mode.

All the lights except the headlights at this time are LED - the headlights are in the plans - probably after the first of the year. Too much work now on the interiors to screw around with headlights that will just mount in - ain't going nowhere right now anyhow. Could use them to see at night to open my beer ??

Are the LED headlights street legal? If they blind the oncoming driver as another poster said they did in Iraq, how desirable is that?

rated for Commercial - Construction - Agriculture @DOT compliant and FMVSS
10,000 hr life

now how cool is that - not unlike any new technology when it first shows up - get as much $$$$ for it as you can because someone will pay it. price will come down - but not soon. That is what I would do.

Lonesome - by the time I got home it was raining harder - you know what I mean and I figured I might melt - being a sissy and all.
I will get you a good pic of the rack LED lights when it is worthy - I just want to get a good pic that show how they appear for anyone interested.

Man I love it when it rains like this. If I was not getting paper work turned in and tracked down today I would have been on my mountain bike in it. I wish it would rain like this more often. When ever you get them is cool. I want to add more lighting to my deuce I am jst not sure how I want to go about doing it.

did go down and take measurements of the interior to add the backing reinforcement - and start nailing the crap outa the interiors this weekend.
I will get you the pics as they are AWESOME on the front and the lighting will be better yet - you should get a good pic once wired in as it is facing the woods and I plan on getting you a pic of the lighting capablities of these creatures

Lonesome - you have been spoiled on the American tax payer - welcome back to the real world where individuals actually have to pay for equipment like this -:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
I remember working with real men - with real equipment 5 yrs before it became available to civilians - what a shock to go back into the "world"
But I have the LED fog lights and proud of it (at least for my buddy #1unit) you will see them on mine once I decide what I want to built as my rack - as soon as the hardtop is done and installed.
