m1008 stereo

I'm looking at buying a m1008 and was wondering where the best place to put a stereo would be. I don't want to cut the dash up because I would like to keep it original.

What I did on my 78 (non military) blazer was put it in the center console. I modified it, and had the amp in there as well. :-D

I have seen them in use in military in the normal spot for a radio in an 80s chevy truck the holes are already there,behind the blockoff plate but you will need an old shaft type radio.
