Finally got the dually from Warner Robbins painted. It was a total basket case with alot of missing parts. Took a power pack from a M1008, seats from an ambulance, civy center console and door panels. The good thing was no rust on the truck at all. Still have a couple things to install and paint the wheels but didn't turn out too bad.

Yes, for whatever reason the DRW hubs were the only part of the conversion they never installed. It still needs the DRW hubs installed in the front:roll:

Nice truck.

The truck I have has spacers on the frt, not true dually hubs.
Was that part of the kit ?

hndrsonj,

did it come with the buck seats or is that an 'add on'?

not a criticism, I flat love it and am considering doing this but have wondered what it would look like

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THAT PIX - it will help me decide which way to go

love the truck and the new paint does look great

M1028A3 conversion, right?

Oh, I think CUCVNUT was asking about the front rims? I have dually rims/wheels all the way around plus two spare (I know, I'm weird, but if you DO get a flat on either rear set of tires it is nice to have two full sized spares, especially if you have a load involved).

I think I paid $75, plus shipping for the extra rim, the tire was $200 (ouch), but I did buy the same tire that was on the truck and am very happy with the overall results - I have not mounted both tires yet - they are going in the bed, in front of the tire wells on each side

It had a bench seat that was trashed. I got the seats from a CUCV ambulance. I really liked them in the truck. I added a center console from a civvy blazer.
