Fuel gauge has a bad ground connection.

I would bet your coolant sensor is going bad.

The bad ground is usually at the tank.

Pull out the instrument panel and clean the contacts on the fuel gauge. You will have to remove the fuel gauge to get the clip in contacts out of the back of the instrument panel. Once out, clean the copper contacts on the instrument cluster film with a pink pencil eraser and clean the contacting surfaces of the steel clips with fine sandpaper.

The biggest problem with the coolant level sensor is corrosion at the connection on the radiator. Clean that, and if it still doesn't work, it's probably the sensor.

Not to hijack, but my right turn signal indicated no longer works, it used to come and go, as well as the parking brake light. Wondering where the ground(s) are for these?

My coolant sensor light went wacko once by lighting every time I made a hard stop. Turned out to be the plug connection under the dash. I believe it plugs into the same box as the water in fuel/wait lights. Anyhow, its under there somewhere. I just put some dielectric grease on the contact.

Again, take out the instrument cluster and remove all the lights and clean the contacts on the film and on the light socket with a pink pencil eraser until the contacts are shiny. I actually had to use a knife blade to scrape the oxidation off the cluster film. Also remove the light itself and bend the wires at teh base of the bulb out a bit so that it will make better contact when you reinstall it.
