Black out light

When i bought my truck the switch for the black out lights and the service lights was removed (i dont know why) is there a way i can get a switch to hook them back up and is there a way to hook them up with a cheap switch from auto zone instead of the military switch the vehicle came with thanks in advance

I can't think of a 'civy alternative' for these switches, I'll bet someone on this site will chime in with a ...yea, an AC...123456 will work and that would be great as my experiance with anything electrical is the less you cut and splice and the more you can keep it original the less trouble you are going to have in the future... just my2cents

I am betting we have several member with spares off of parts trucks that will hook you up, reasonably. I see them on the 'Bay all the time. Glen

I'm in the process of figuring out how to bypass my switch. It decided to go bad at 11pm the other night before I was going to go home so I had no lights!
