Extra lights, lamps etc..?

Curious if anyone has mounted some fog lamps, search lights, or any auxiliary lights on their deuce and has some pictures and advice. Im looking into fog lamps and search lights to put on. Search lights to be mounted on telescoping arms so they can be raised above the cab or lowerd as needed and 360 degree swivels so they can be used as more driving lights or aimed out to the side. Going to be driving alot out in the deep Adirondacks and these would come in very handy.

The Army actually had yellow fog light kits that could be ordered through unit level maint. This modification was very common where fog was a hazard.

Several vehicles (wreckers, bridge trucks, pipeline trucks, etc.) had small movable service lights that were attached at various points. Some of these were detachable and could be carried a short distance from the mounting point.

Either o'reilly's or napa, I'm thinking o'reilly's most likely.

The bulb is known as a 2470/H3 bulb I think. A 12 volt H3 is a 1255/H3.

You can also just run your 12v lamps in paired series.

I know that Hella and Wagner both make 24v H3's though...

I think the wagner part number is '1251' or something, thats what I have.

ARMYMAN30YEARS had a set of infra-red headlights on his off of a APC. I have a set for each of my trucks but not installed yet.

I also have a set of the clear lens APC headlights for use as fog lights...again, not installed.

I have two work lights that I was going to put up top similar to what cruzinz28 did.

And if I get the right bed swap out, it will have marker lights.

Oh and cab lights, using cockpit spot lights and/or the armor dome lights.

For the bed I have several blue lens dome lights out of a 109 or 820 expando van that I'll probably use. If not then more armor dome lights.

Will also use two more APC headlights on the back underneath as backup lights.

Last but not least, a IR APC headlight on a removable swivle bracket. Why? Let's put it this way, little 4 legged furry creatures wouldn't stand a chance, LOL.

Run all this to a single switch board.

Because I will also be installing a 12 series radio package, to keep everything nice a tidy, was wondering if it would be worthwhile to mount a CUCV 24 volt power bus bar (the one below the radio mount in the back right of the cab).

Lot of ideas, little time.

Support for the lights over the cab was made in a muffler shop, cross piece is aluminum angle.

My deuce is having turn signal and brake light issues.

Since I am not overly concerned with maintaining stock stuff on my primary deuce I am considering totally rewiring my deuce using a "Painless" (or other aftermarket wiring harness) system.
I will prob stay 24 volt.
Has anybody else did a complete rewire using non NOS wiring????

I came across 4 24-volt work lights at an industrial Car Quest in our area that were ordered by mistake... But it was my day to get a deal!!! I think I paid like $8 each about 4 years ago. 4 X 6" and really bright. 2 were spot lights and 2 were flood lights. I placed one flood and one spot in the rear for back up lights. I placed the other flood and spot on the front of the log loader joy stick control tower so I can work all night long ....
