Make your wipers go fast-er

One thing has been bugging me about my truck, and all pre 90's cars in general is that the windsheild wipers go too slow. Its plenty good enough to drive around on the street, but when you get it workin' in the mud its blind driving the entire way.

I do know that on GM wiper motors, the HI and LOW position are controlled through the switch to a ground, one wire grounding the HI and the other grounding the LO.

I was thinking what might happen if I ground out both through a relay or something, would both wires grounded out speed up the motor faster than what its got normally? Or would it slow it down to somewhere between LO and HI speeds?

My wipers are extremly slow and I was going to the junk yard for a diff. one to try. Last night they stopped in the middle but when I gave em a nudge they cycled back down and stopped.
That is typical and get used to it. Disconnect the three suppressors in the wiper motor harness, that may make it work a little better.

Good question. Lets try it on yours first, then let me know. Joe.
I do have a 30 day no questions asked warranty from the JY for my "new" wiper motor, does anybody know which wires to ground out? The TM says the gray and white ones, but the closest resemblance to that is a white and blue one.
