Dumb ECU question

Do you have to get a new ECU for every Item you buy or is it something you apply for once and your done?

You have to get a EUC every time you win a lot. Win 3 lots fill out 3 EUCs. A month later you win another lot you fill out another EUC.

Hi Jerry, the process involves some paperwork and a whole lot of patience esp w/your first. Don't be discouraged by the whole process, we were all there once

You'll need to submit 3 articles. The EUC (review the template in SS, it may be in the old SS but it'll basically let you know what to put down), a scanned copy of your driver's license, and a GL Export Letter. Once you print these documents off, sign them and re-scan them. Save the files to PDF format and send them via email to GL. Once sent, give it a couple hours and call GL themselves to verify they received your email. Then it's out of your control. Goes from GL, to Battle Creek for approval, then back to GL where they will notify you via email that you are good to go. Be sure to check your status in your GL profile to see where your paperwork is at.

Were not supposed to talk about upcoming auctions. Some of the reasons: colusion for one and its against SS guidelines for number two.

Its just one of the rules for participating in this site. Its an easy mistake that nearly everyone makes when they are new to SteelSoldiers. I wouldnt worry about it too much, trailers and gensets are pretty common. If you get outbid I'm sure more will come along.

Good luck and remember once you get one OD piece of equipment theres going to be more to follow.

If you win 3 lots in the same sale you don't have to fill out 3 EUC's, just one per sale.

The EUC is for the event not the lot. You can buy 100 items in one event and you only have to fill out one EUC. The next time you buy something in another event you'll have to fill out another EUC though.
