Hello,
Does anyone know the size fuse for the intank fuel pump? I cannot read the numbers on mine clearly. I think it says 250A?

Thanks
Tom

Several posts cover this, with a variety of answers. A 3, 4 or 5 amp SLOW BLOW fuse is what you will need. I know there is a Radio Shack part number listed in a thread.

You must be reading the volt maximum, not the amperage.

5 amp slow blow is what I've used.

I found them at a local True Value Hardware but almost any auto parts palce should have them.

The link to searches is temporary (like the pictures shown in chat-you may have a link but it only works for so long).

Well that's useless! When did this start? I think we need to fix that!

I started with 2 amp slo-blo fuses from Radio Shack and later was told the motor pools are using 5 amp slo-blos. Most of my in tank fuel pumps work OK on 2 amps. Some won't hold til I install a 5 amp. I have found some with 14 amp and 20 amp fuses in them when I bought them......... I really would not do that, something is not right if you need over 5 amp slo-blo fuses. JT out
