Well after thinking that my EUC was going to take longer to clear than three days. I was very surprised at how quick it did cleared. After I told the wife who was very cool with me buying another toy (that is what she calls it) it and it just so happened that we were going out to Strausberg I suggested to the wife maybe swing by Anneville and pickup the truck. I was hoping to bring one of my buddys and prepared a little better but I could not really justified driving out there again if I did not have too. So I packed the wife car up with every tool that i thought could help me, packed the kids in the car and off we go. I thought we would leave at 0700 but with kids we got on the road around 0730.

Made it to Anneville around 1000 called Mike from GL and followed him over to the yard. From there he showed me my new truck. I saw that it needed a little work but for what i paid I was happy. I had brought two batteries that I had charged up. The battery holder was rusted beyond repair so I discarded that. Tool some time getting the new battery in but I managed. However by the time that I got the batteries in. We were running late for our trip on the Easter train at Strousberg. The wife was getting a little mad and the kids were running all over the place. So I had to move now. I climbed into the cab flipped the switch and pressed the ignition button. Turned over for about ten seconds, Nothing, Again ten seconds and again nothing. On the third go she roared to life. Checked the gauges all looked good. Brakes seemed a little funny so I decided to do a little road test. After the road test all seemed good. Except the driver door swinging open due to the lack of the door handle.

Well we set off to Strousberg. And missed out train. But no worries we caught the next one. I got many looks from the kids and parents as I parked the truck in the lot. After several ours there we were on way home. All went well expect for the traffic near Philadelphia and Cherry Hill stopped for fuel filled the tank. And pulled in about three and half hours after leaving Strousberg. I have always heard of guys saying how there rear end hurts after so many hours in a deuce. Well my ass was done, I could barley walk. But all in all it was a good day. And my wife was great. It was a good day.

Congrats on your recovery,I'm still waiting on my EUC from BC, but it sounds like they're moving on them. I won one of those m109's in the same lot as yours. I went down prior to the auction to check em out so hopefully the batts are still good. I plan on driving it back to CT. and would like to know if anyone would be available if needed along the way if I find myself on the side of the road. I plan on taking I-78 to 278 and up to 78 over the Tappenzee and then up 95n to 395n. If anyone is available please send me a PM with Tel# It sure would be nice to know that I can call someone if needed. Turkey good luck with your 109 and what are your plans for it.

X ray there was someone else there when I was picking up an M35. I was so pressed for time I would have normally gone over and said Hi. I really like meeting guys from the board. I will post some more picture soon as I get a chance to. Timass1 good luck with your recovery. I asked Mike about the trucks, he said most were good but one had electrical issues.

Wow Nice Rig. I am in the process of purchasing one from Write Pat here in Ohio.. My first, all the women in my life think I am crazy all the guys think it rocks and wish they had the balls to do it them selves. Going to use mine for a toy hauler/RV/Mobile Office. EUC submitted and just waiting for the all clear.

Jumped on here to get ideas, cant wait to see what you do with yours!
